Donation Guidelines
Donations of books and media are the heart of our fundraising efforts, and we greatly appreciate them. However, our storage space is limited, so we can't accept everything. Please keep the following information in mind when donating. Thank you!

Books in good condition
clean and undamaged, no mold, odorless, unmarked, covers and dust jackets intact
Recent publication dates
fiction and biographies printed in last 20 years; most nonfiction printed in last 10 years (exceptions made for cookbooks)
Classics
in good condition
Readers Digest condensed books
hardcover fiction only
Media on disc with cases
audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray

Books in poor condition
Moldy, musty, torn, marked up, highlighted, water damaged, etc.
Outdated books
fiction and biographies printed more than 20 years ago (exceptions made for classics and hardcover Reader's Digest condensed books); most nonfiction printed more than 10 years ago including outdated manuals, self-help books, and health books; magazines; textbooks; encyclopedias
Outdated media & non-media items
VHS & cassette tapes, vinyl records, computer software, game cartridges and discs, puzzles, board games
Small book and media donations (one or two bags or boxes) can be dropped off in our bookstore inside the Lebanon Senior Center or at the Lebanon Public Library during their regular business hours. For larger donations (more than two bags or boxes), please contact us to make an appointment to drop off the donation.
